Charissa is an American Sportscaster born on May 5, 1982. ESPN analyst who was selected as cohost of SportsNation for 2012. She was the host of the ABC program Splash alongside Joey Lawrence. She was co-hosting the ABC show Splash alongside Joey Lawrence.. Thompson was born and lived in Seattle Washington. As the youngest of three kids, she knew she wanted to be a broadcaster from the age of three. She was a graduate of Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson relocated to California to attend an California community college. She later transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara where she graduated with an B.A. In 2004, she earned an B.A. in Law and Society. Thompson has been reported by Sports Illustrated to have left Washington State to go to a California community college prior to transferring to UC Santa Barbara has confirmed that she was actually a student at WSU. Thompson got an offer from Sports Illustrated to do body painting in their Swimsuit issue prior to beginning her career in broadcasting. The singer who is lead from the New York based pop rock group Against the Current who released their EP titled Infinity in 2014.
