Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She is the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently acts as the association's president. Buss, a Californian native has an affluent family background. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who later owned the Lakers as well as various other sports organizations. Her parents parted ways in 1972 and she began to feel that she was emotionally neglected. As she turned 19 old she joined the family's business, serving as general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Later, she established the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice President of the Lakers. Buss was the father of her deceased father in 2013 which is when the Lakers were inherited from him by Buss and her five siblings via an inheritance trust. Every sibling was entitled to the same number of votes. She assumed her duties as president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles the organization which is a pro-wrestling organization.
