She served as a sideline journalist for the College World Series, Women's Tennis Association's Tour Championships NCAA football for men and the NCAA Women's Basketball Championships. Flanagan was a reporter for the Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers and Dodgers for a SportsCenter reporter. She also reported on spring training, the NBA Playoffs College Football Bowl, and the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and hosted a show every week to air on the NFL Monday Night Countdown. For ESPN she was instrumental in launching an entertainment themed segment for SportsCenter known as "Hollywood Highlights."
